OUR STORY
Rule 20 is a non-profit organization founded to support military service members. We recognize the success of any mission is due in large part to its people. While the playing field may change over time, human connections are what tie us all together.
More than at any other time in our history, U.S. service members are asked to develop relationships with local partners and allies. As the very best representatives of America, U.S. service members and their families have embraced patriots from countries across the globe who dedicate their lives to democracy and freedom. These aren’t work relationships but common bonds across brother, sisters, and families in arms. They become one.
Yet, when it comes time to move on to the next assignment, we are short-changing our service members by leaving them, as individuals, to worry about what will happen to their partners and allies. The very ethos of any military member is to protect what we hold dear. In failing to protect those who honor us with their service and collaboration, Moral Injury may result.
Rule 20 was founded on the premise of trying to prevent Moral Injury among service members as much as possible, and where we fall short, to provide real treatment through partnerships with mental health services and providers. Our aim is to provide the cutting edge of Moral Injury services and treatment to America’s finest.
